ONLINE ORDERING, DELIVERY, & DISCOUNTS

You may now use your membership points on our website ordering system! You may also use them in the store at our POS. If you are not signed up for our membership program, please do so right away! Click on the “Rewards tab above and enter your info! Also, download our “Apothecare Ann Arbor” app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play store and always know how many points you have!

If it’s your birthday, please let us know on your special day because we have a gift for you!

On our website, select the MED or REC menu. You can search through the menu by typing in keywords or selecting a category to the left-hand side. Each item has a description when you click on it. All of the items we have in stock should appear on the menu, so if you can’t find something, it’s probably because we’re currently out of stock of that item (but we’ll re-stock soon!) or we don’t sell it. When you click on a product, you can select the quantity you’d like. Select the quantity you want, and then click “Add.” If you want to add more items, click “Continue Shopping.” If your cart has everything you want for today, click “View Cart & Checkout.”

That will take you to your cart, where you can make sure your order is to your satisfaction. You will be given an estimated total based on your subtotal and tax. All discounts are applied on our end. Then click “Proceed to Checkout.” You will be asked to log in or create a login for our website. If you ordered medical products, you will be asked to upload photos of your ID and med card. We accept Areopay payment online or you can pay when you pick up your order. Once everything is all confirmed, you can submit your order and we’ll process it as soon as we receive it. We will hold your order for 24 hours. Let us know if you need more time.

Ordering through Weedmaps is largely the same, but Weedmaps does not separate our menus. For this reason, please pay attention to the [MED] or [REC] designation next to the name of the product. If you order a “mixed cart” (medical and recreational items), or if you order med items without proof of a med card, then we will contact you so that we can change your order.

The online ordering process for delivery is the same as for pickup, just with a couple extra steps and requirements. Make sure you select the “Delivery” option at checkout. You will be prompted to enter your delivery address.

Note that we have two geofenced delivery zones. Inside the Ann Arbor area (to locations less than 15 minutes or so from our shop by car) there is a $50 minimum order with no delivery fee. Outside of our local area (to locations more than 15 minutes from our shop by car) there is a $100 minimum order and a $2 delivery fee. We currently offer delivery Wednesday through Sunday 9am-7pm. We can only deliver to residential addresses and you must be present with your valid ID to accept the delivery. By state law we cannot leave your delivery without you physically there to sign the state manifest stating that you have received the order.

All of the items we have in stock should appear on the menu, so if you can’t find something, it’s probably because we’re currently out of stock of that item (but we’ll re-stock soon!) or we don’t sell it.

All of our flower is pre-packaged, so there may be times where we’re out of eighths of a particular strain. There are also times where we’ve sold out of a particular strain for recreational use, but we still have it in stock on the medical side or vice versa. We unfortunately can’t sell rec flower for a med price (or the other way around), but med patients can make a separate rec purchase if the desired item is currently only available for rec.

We are temporarily not able to accept credit card payments at this time. We have two ATMs on site and we only charge $1 for their use!

Dutchie pay coming really soon!

Other than internal server errors outside of our control, there are a few reasons why our website might not let you submit your order:

  • Have you typed in your date of birth?
  • If ordering medical products, have you uploaded your ID and med card?
  • If ordering delivery, are you within 30 miles of our store? If your delivery address is located outside of our 30 mile delivery radius, then our website will notify you that there’s been an issue. You can always type our address (2793 Plymouth Rd, Ann Arbor, MI) into Google Maps or another GPS system to find out how far your address is away from us.

If all of your information is correct and you’re still having issues, go ahead and call us at 734-800-2008 and explain that you’d like to call in a phone order. You may be put on hold if the line is busy.

Your state should send you a confirmation email with your new registration/patient ID number. That email should be valid for 30 days. When you go to upload a photo of your med card on our website, take a screenshot of that email (namely the patient registration number) and upload that. When your physical card does come, simply upload your brand new card to our website the next time you order so that we can get the correct expiration date.

Even if you’re a returning customer, we need proof that you’re over 21 when you submit an order for cannabis products. We will also need to see your ID when you come to pick up your order, every time. We need this for legal reasons; we can be fined by the state if we sell to someone without seeing an ID. If you absolutely cannot or will not upload a photo ID, then we can check you out as a guest and simply check your ID when you arrive. Note that this function won’t add any loyalty points to your account in our rewards program.

GENERAL & LOCATION FAQ

Unfortunately, we don’t stack multiple customer discounts for in-store or online purchases. We can, however, apply the highest discount you qualify for. If you’re a veteran/active duty military member you qualify for 10% off. If you are a disability beneficiary/cancer patient, you’ll get 10% off.

For veterans/active duty military and disability beneficiaries, we’d like to see some documentation confirming your status (that could be a military duty card, disability benefits registration card, etc).

(Cancer patients, we’re not going to ask you to prove your condition! For that, we operate on an honor system. General PSA: Please do not claim to have a medical condition that you don’t have. We don’t tolerate tasteless dishonesty.)

It saves to be fam! Our loyalty members get text and email notifications about new deals and products.

Our loyalty program operates on a point-based system. For every dollar you spend with us, you get a point. When you accrue enough points, you can cash them in for rewards. You should be able to view your loyalty points and rewards through your virtual wallet with us. Contact us if you have questions about your points and what you can redeem!

Yes you can, but you’ll have to pay the rec price for a product that’s tagged in our inventory as rec. This still holds if that product is normally offered on our med menu, but is currently out of stock for med.

This comes down to inventory and legal restrictions. The state of Michigan strictly mandates that we specifically designate products for either medical or recreational stock. Once a product is tagged as one or the other, we can’t sell it for the other price. We can’t legally sell a designated med product as rec or vice versa.

If it’s any consolation, we regularly re-stock our products. Med patients can always purchase a particular item for rec sale if it’s not in med stock or wait until we have that item back in med stock.

It totally does matter! Carrying a med card comes with a few key advantages:

  • In Michigan, medical marijuana patients don’t have to pay the 10% excise tax for medical products (just Michigan sales tax), which makes a big difference in price
  • Med patients have access to all medical and recreational products (Note: med patients will have to pay the rec price for a designated rec product)
  • In the state of Michigan, medical cannabis has a higher standard of testing than recreational cannabis products. Here at Apothecare, we offer the same quality of cannabis products for med and rec, but this is important to keep in mind when purchasing elsewhere.

Our very own Dr. Lisa Profera can help you! Dr. Lisa is our on-site medical cannabis expert with over 20 years of experience as a physician in the Ann Arbor area. She’s also certified to help you get or renew a Michigan med card. Call her at 734-800-2006 or email her at [email protected] to set up an appointment to apply for a med card. You can also contact her for more specific medical marijuana questions and recommendations. There is a $150 fee for consultations and med card applications/renewals. During the lock down, Dr. Lisa is offering virtual consultations via video call.

Due to the pandemic, our new tentative opening date for our larger first-floor location in 2793 Plymouth Rd (Suite C) is pending. Note that we will be in the same building. Keep an eye out for text and social media updates!

Splendid! Our owners would be the people to talk to. Call us at 734-800-2008 or email us at [email protected] to get specific contact information.
